LOCATION
Desierto Azul is located in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, México. It is a 7 min drive north of town, in a quiet area that runs along the coast, known as Las Tunas (or “Otro Lado”).
_FROM TOWN
Take Calle Topete and follow the main road north-east of town. The road name changes into Camino a Las Playitas. We are located on the right side of the road after Camino Internacional.
_FROM LOS CABOS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (SJD)
SJD is the main international airport with easy connections to the USA, Canada and Europe. It is located an hour and a half driving south of Todos Santos.
TRANSPORTATIONS: A shuttle service can take you from the airport to town, you can buy tickets on-line at www.ecobajatours.com. Or if you wish a private transportation please reach out to us at hola@desiertoazulbaja.com and we will organize that for you.
CAR RENTAL: Renting a car is the most popular way to explore this area of the Baja Peninsula. At the airport you will find several options of international car rentals. Our recommendation is www.cactuscar.com, based on tourists feedbacks.
DRIVING FROM SJD TO TODOS SANTOS: It is an hour and a half drive. The road is mostly a double lane paved highway, safe and well-maintained, from sunset hour pay attention to livestock. If your flight arrives at night, we recommend staying in Los Cabos and travelling the following morning. The first 40 km is a toll-road cash only (both Pesos and Dollars). You will then take the panoramic Highway 19, with beautiful views of the ocean and desert.
